Beaded Bookmarks (2007)

In Stock: 1 Short (for paperbacks) and 2 Longs (for paperbacks or hardbacks)

From shore to shore, and everywhere in between, these bookmarks made of cotton twine and assorted decorations of beads, spacers, gemstones, and coins will hold your place until you are ready to return to immerse yourself once again in the sea of words. Two varieties have been created - a shorter version strictly for paperbacks, but also a longer version for paperbacks and/or hardbacks. (Thx for the idea, Cindy!)

The Turkle Bag (2006)

This little bag has been named by my friend, Neil - (he's refusing to make stuff to sell - e-mail me that he should and I'll forward it his way!). Anyway, it's fancy yarn and regular blue yarn together - #6 needles. Whereas the other bag is long, this one is short and cute. To grab the bag, you pull on the little blue dookie balls. To close the bag up, just tuck the wooden beads underneath the loop, & you are ready to roll!

If you don't mind a funky shaped bag with a cute lil' white crocheted flower, then this purchase is for you!!! Bright orange, soft, soft, incredibly soft yarn, this little sack can hold a few light items - wallet, cell, chapstick, your essentials - for a quick trip to the grocery store that will surely garner some introspective stares. HAND WASH ONLY!!! Quite a delicate matter.

I say we've found a new 4th of July ritual - John, my mom & I created a whole bunch of t-shirts over the weekend & came up with some great tie-dye ideas for the future too.
