Our soaps are created from hand-milling or the melt & pour process - therefore, please allow for variation due to separate batch-making & curing. Each flower is approximately 1.75 oz worth of low-sweat melt & pour soap and a heady fragrance that smells like a certain shampoo called...drumroll...Herbal Essence. Gee, wonder where my supplier came up with that name? I tried something new this time - I used droppers to put colored soap into the petals, flowers, etc. (Green chrome oxide, Red-Blue Mica & Gold Sparkle Mica.) It was a painful process (!) but it actually came out better than I thought. I can only assume I'll get better at this as time goes on... I filled the rest of the molds in with the herbally essenced soap... Perfect for Mom for Mother's Day!

Mom pestered me last year for a soap for her particular type of skin, which to me meant 'mature'. I gave her a few bars at Christmas and she said: I like the soap... I found the scent to be rather foreign at first, but I like it now. Whatever that means! But alas, I have made another batch, and this time with more punch...in other words, I've added more essential oils to the soap. Once I send Mom another bar, we'll see what she has to say. It was mild to me, the first batch, so we'll see what the new one says to ME, too... But anyway...

The Magickal Bar Itself: Think CREAMY - the soap base is melt & pour white with shea butter for ultra-moisturizing (this stuff is so soft, that in my soap dish I had to roll it into a ball at the end of its life and make sure I kept the water out of the bowl, otherwise it would get too gushy!). I added Lemon, Rosehip Seed & Roman Chamomile essential oils for various reasons: Lemon is great for acne, oily skin & is an exfoliant with medicinal properties of being antiseptic, antirheumatic, astringent, bactericdal, etc. Chamomile is good for acne, boils, dermatitis, inflammations & broken capillaries, with medicinal properties of being analgesic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, digestive (not that you should eat the soap), etc. And the Rosehip Seed - well, it's our miracle worker.

It's wonderful for wrinkles, brown spots, sun spots - you name it. It contains Vitamin C, and I'm sure you know how good Vitamin C is for you! (I'm also taking crazy amounts of internal C at the moment to combat my tendency to sneeze and wheeze my butt off! Not working yet.)

These soaps come in a handy-dandy little muslin bag which you can either reuse, or keep your soap inside of it in the shower for extra scrubbing effect.

One says "handmade", one says "natural" & the other is blank - they consist of tea tree oil (for a refreshing smell), patchouli oil (for a soothing reality) & ground up peppermint leaves (a little more of the refreshment quality). I think it's great for when you need a quick eye-opener, to get the senses awake & ready for anything - my grandfather says it's great for shaving!!! Each is wrapped in plastic wrap to preserve scent with hemp tied around it. Please Note: Each batch comes out looking a little bit different than the others. The current soaps for sale are from a batch that looks whiter than the pictured soaps.

These soaps are specifically for skin care - it includes all sorts of things that are really good for you. Rosehips with natural Vitamin C (which as an antioxidant fights free radicals) help with evening complexion by alleviating scars, burns, spots, pigmentation & skin aging. Witchhazel leaves are crushed up for an antiseptic use to be cleansing, healing & soothing while the toasted oatmeal is for exfoliation, along with Vitamin E for moisturizing. I am currently using some of it myself!!! Each is wrapped in plastic wrap to preserve freshness ~ these soaps are unscented & very rough to touch so please be careful!

The ones currently up for sale now were double-batched, but have cured for months so are in good order to use.

These delicious little numbers are perfect for the onset of Fall (and would also do well in Winter, methinks). They're a Castile soap mixed with uncooked oats (for exfoliation & rejuvenation qualities), chamomile (for soothing, softening & relaxing qualities), honey (for moisturizing & healing properties), a dash of cinnamon (mainly for coloring) and some of the best scented oil I've ever smelled - it's called "Gingersnap". Each is wrapped in plastic wrap to preserve freshness and some fancy schmancy wraphia to make it slightly more appealing! I know these smell good enough to eat... but unless you've been naughty and are getting your mouth washed out with soap - I wouldn't recommend it!

Star & Moon or a Sunshine mold, a wonderful soothing Hungarian Lavender Essential Oil mixed with ground, blue Loofah (sponge) & a glycerin base. Lavender is known for its relaxation qualities - so it's the perfect soap to use before sleep. Lavender is also a known contender for battling headaches & burns!

The Theory: We come up with different concoctions and see if they wash or not (heh heh!). If they do, they'll become permanent fixtures!

1 - Runner's Dream: A two piece system of glycerin suspension soap consisting of ground blue loofah, a generous amount of peppermint and lavender essential oil mixed in with calendula extract and the second, smaller half of kelp and lemon essential oil. The loofah does an excellent job of exfoliating your skin while the kelp as a follow-up detoxifies and moisturizes your skin; the calendula soothes irritated skin. Peppermint is soothing to the joints after a long run; lavender relaxes your racing heart. Lemon keeps the kelp in check so you don't get too moisturized! I must say, this soap feels great when I use it - the contrast is what makes it so neat! Please note: the blue part is not attached to the green part, but depending on where you leave your soap after using it, they may end up fusing together.

Clear Glycerin base mixed with red & blue dyes & a simply wonderful, uplifting, energetic, yummy, yummy, yummy fragrance blend called Energy. To me it smells very grape like, but it has a wide variety of scents in it - click on Energy for more information. This soap smells edible!!!
